Jamie and I learned of an amazing story today and couldn’t wait to share it with all of you. There’s a woman named Kim from Olympia, Washington who experienced a major setback in building her dream tiny home. She saved up the money, got her materials, and hired two builders to help with her project. Borrowing space in a neighbor’s barn, she was able to work on her project inside the barn and store her materials there as well. Midway through the building process, tragedy struck – the barn, her tiny house and all the other building materials burned down in a fire. After several months trying to decide what to do next, she decided to start an indiegogo campaign to help her raise the funds needed to build her dream tiny house.
We found her video incredibly moving and her story pretty darn cool. Check it out and let us know what you think!
(P.S. Jamie’s donating to the campaign as I write this post)
